speed

please click the image to see full-size.

when i saw the word 'speed' one of my first thoughts was of my dog... he's mostly greyhound. the way he moves makes other dogs look as though they are made of lead... although you wouldn't know it from this sleepy sketch. my other tenuous link to this weeks theme is the speed at which i had to sketch this, he kept wriggling...

I love this illustration! Dogs look som peaceful when they're asleep...they just give into the whole process with abandon! I like the way you've broken the space into thrree diagonals, each with its own pattern. The limited palette is very pleasing, and the fine lines outlining the shapes make a great contrast to the patterns and textures. Well done!
